The London Legacy Development Corporation has been designing and delivering a number of local projects in the town centres and neighbourhoods surrounding Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Projects include new and refurbished playgrounds, park re-landscaping, tree planting, High Street improvements, a new community cultural centre known as the White Building, and improvements to local routes which will be used to access the Park.

The projects have been funded by the Mayor of London and delivered by the London Legacy Development Corporation working with local boroughs and community groups and a range of designers. A selection of these projects are showcased in the publication ‘Stitching the Fringe: Working around the London Olympics’, which is available to download below.
