Following the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will present a rare investment opportunity reflecting the recent trend of London moving east.

A combination of open spaces, state of the art venues, a world-class shopping centre and a cluster of dynamic communities, will allow for the development of a new destination for business, leisure and life. The Legacy Company is aiming for it to be the best of London, all in one place:

The Legacy Company is pleased to announce that it is now launching a formal process to appoint sponsors for its three main assets on the Park:

    
Naming rights and sponsorship deals are available on a number of levels and further details will be provided to those who express an interest in these opportunities.

Process

The Legacy Company invites expressions of interest in these opportunities from brands directly, agents mandated by specific brands, or other organisations who have a demonstrable track record in securing commercial rights partners and who are interested in negotiating on behalf of the brands to secure these sponsorship opportunities.

The process will work as follows:

  • interested parties express interest by 1pm on 2 March 2012
  • a Request for an Indicative Proposal (“RFIP”) is issued to all interested parties by 5pm on 2 March 2012
  • a response to the RFIP is submitted to the Legacy Company by 5pm on 2 April 2012
  • the Legacy Company will shortlist sponsors (whether represented via an agency or otherwise) in accordance with the short-listing criteria set out in the RFIP
  • negotiations with short-listed sponsors will commence and we will aim to reach a final decision and award
    contract(s) on conclusion of these negotiations by a date to be notified in May 2012.

Conditions Relating to Participation

Details of sponsorship terms, information regarding the short-listing requirements, the evaluation criteria and conditions relating to participation in this process will be provided in the RFIP.
