3 Mills is London’s largest film and television studio, set on a historic and spacious 20 acre island site, situated within the London borough of Newham near to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The studios, which are owned by the London Legacy Development Corporation, have been used by some of the most successful independent filmmakers including Danny Boyle and Tim Burton. The Legacy Corporation is committed to supporting the creative and media industries in East London.
In October 2010, 3 Mills became the home of the London 2012 Ceremonies Team, whilst continuing to conduct its core business for the film and television industries.
