What we are building must be an inclusive part of the city. We are aiming for a new area of London that is open and integrated with all the surrounding communities, with high quality, accessible services and real opportunities for economic growth.

We’re listening and working closely with local people to make sure every aspect of the Park makes a positive contribution to the area. We want to ensure that London’s East End retains its character, and that its communities are part of this change.

Listening, learning and taking action

Local communities and residents will always be at the heart of the Park, which is why we need local input to make sure it’s a success.

Although we’re working closely with many public and third sector partners, it’s important that everyone has a say in how the plans unfold and that there is a strong sense of community ownership.

We’ve been consulting and working closely with local communities and individuals, and will continue to do so – it’s a key part of our commitment to the Park and its success.
